Welcome to the SEEHOF – Your Prime Spot on Lake Ammersee
Our restaurant with its idyllic beer garden is located directly on Germany's longest lakeside promenade – a place with unique charm and a direct view of Lake Ammersee. We pamper our guests with Bavarian delicacies and fresh fish specialties from local waters. Regionality, seasonality, and the highest quality are our focus – every dish is prepared with love and select ingredients from the region.
Our hotel has 43 comfortable rooms and is a year-round home away from home for business travelers, conference attendees, tour groups, and those seeking relaxation.
During the warmer months, we expand our offerings to include 200 seated tables and 600 self-service seats in the beer garden – ideal for enjoying a meal, holding meetings, or celebrating. And all this in a unique location: directly on the shores of Lake Ammersee, with an unobstructed view of the Alpine panorama – you can't get any closer to the water.

We are looking for you to join our team at our Restaurant & Hotel on Lake Ammersee:
As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for our year-round restaurant with hotel facilities and a seasonal beer garden. You will contribute your hands-on approach and vision to manage the operations, develop strategically, and ensure the business's financial success.
## ... Your tasks at a glance:
You ensure the smooth daily operation of the restaurant, hotel, and beer garden, and actively participate, especially during peak times.
You are the first point of contact for guests, employees, and all department heads.
You develop creative concepts for diverse food and beverage offerings and events in the hotel and restaurant sector.
You plan and monitor key performance indicators and are responsible for budget planning.
You analyze statistics (e.g., on sell and pick) and derive targeted optimization measures.
You analyze workflows and continuously implement improvements.
You conduct efficient audits in the departments – e.g., For example, during orders or inventories
You support our department heads with staff scheduling, always keeping the budget in mind
You conduct employee reviews and are responsible for the onboarding, training, and professional development of the team
You handle guest complaints professionally and find solution-oriented answers
You work closely with management and actively shape the future of the business
You support increasing hotel occupancy through targeted measures and quality management
You ensure compliance with all hygiene, quality, and service standards (including HACCP)
## We are looking for someone with the following profile:
Several years of professional experience in a management position in the restaurant or hotel industry
Sound knowledge of the operational and administrative aspects of a restaurant
### Experience in leading teams, combined with strong interpersonal skills and assertiveness
Organizational talent with a keen eye for the big picture and attention to detail
Proficient use of POS systems and standard office software (MS Office, ideally with some experience) (in restaurant software)
Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
Resilience, flexibility, and a hands-on approach – including weekends and holidays
A passion for hospitality – with an open, friendly demeanor and a high degree of personal responsibility
