Introduction
To complete our management team, we are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated individual to join us as Head Chef, starting immediately or by agreement.
In this position, you will report directly to the Director of Operations at the Hilton Zurich Airport.
... Your responsibilities
Ensuring smooth operational and administrative processes in the kitchen and proactive communication with all hotel departments
Leading the kitchen team of 10-15 employees, creating duty rosters and absence schedules, and ensuring compliance with all labor laws in collaboration with the HR department
Monitoring and maintaining hygiene and safety standards
Developing menu plans, calculating costs, and consistently implementing the restaurant concept in collaboration with the Director of Operations and General Managers
Responsibility for cost control, ordering, and close collaboration with suppliers
Organizing and executing events, actively participating in daily operations, and being flexible in all positions and kitchen areas

### Your profile
Completed vocational training and relevant professional experience in a comparable position and company
### Experience in leading and developing employees
Sound, qualified experience or certification in the field of hygiene
Service-oriented work ethic, commitment, and resilience
Excellent German and English language skills
Completed [further qualifications] are an advantage Advanced training to become a certified chef with a Swiss Federal Diploma and a vocational trainer course
