Who are we, you might be wondering?
Espira Blakstad is a five-department kindergarten centrally located in Asker, with forest, beach and the Oslofjord as its closest neighbors. Our outdoor area – and the surrounding environment – are an active part of everyday life, year-round. We go on trips, use nature, whether it's ski lessons, trips to the fjord, winter activities or overnight trips with the older children.
The staff group consists of committed and professionally strong colleagues with different backgrounds and experience. We have a conscious focus on collaboration, reflection and development, and we value different perspectives in the staff group.
We know that well-being and development go hand in hand, and work purposefully with both the psychosocial kindergarten environment, the pedagogical quality (Espira BLIKK) and the pedagogical environments (Espira Fryd). We are concerned with a culture of guidance and professional development, including through our own professional forum and Espira Academy.

About the role - Kindergarten teacher
As a kindergarten teacher with us, you have a central role in the pedagogical work and in the further development of the kindergarten's quality. You are co-responsible for development work in the department, in collaboration with the educational leader and other staff, and you actively contribute to play, interaction and learning processes together with the children.

We are looking for kindergarten teachers who are secure in their role and who want to use their experience and professional competence in an environment with high ambitions for quality. Formal qualifications 
Education as a kindergarten teacher (Any education from abroad that is approved by the Norwegian Directorate of Education) 
Norwegian knowledge equivalent to level B2 written and B2 oral 
Approved police certificate (to be presented upon employment, not to be attached to the application)
