About the workplace:
Espira Blakstad is a five-department kindergarten centrally located in Asker, with forest, beach and the Oslofjord as its closest neighbors. Our outdoor area – and the surrounding environment – is an active part of everyday life, year-round. We go on trips, use nature, whether it's ski lessons, trips to the fjord, winter activities or overnight trips with the older children.
The staff group consists of committed and professionally strong colleagues with different backgrounds and experience. We have a conscious focus on cooperation, reflection and development, and we value different perspectives in the staff group.
We know that well-being and development go hand in hand, and work purposefully with both the psychosocial kindergarten environment, the educational quality (Espira BLIKK) and the educational environments (Espira Fryd). About the role - Kindergarten teacher
As a kindergarten teacher, you do the most important job in the world - but you don't do it alone. You are jointly responsible for conducting development work in the department, in collaboration with the educational manager and other staff. You actively contribute to the educational work, in play, interaction and learning processes together with the children. 
Who are we looking for? 
We believe in educators who participate in play, who are curious with the children and who know that the small moments are often the biggest. 
Are you a recent graduate - or will graduate in the spring?  Then we would especially encourage you to apply.  We do not expect you to know everything from day one. We have our own introduction and guidance program for newly graduated kindergarten teachers in the first two years, which gives you professional security, support in everyday life and a network you can rely on. This way you get a good and safe start to your career. 
Formal qualifications 
Education as a kindergarten teacher (Any education from abroad that is approved by the Norwegian Directorate of Education)
Norwegian language skills equivalent to level B2 written and B2 oral 
Approved police certificate (to be presented upon employment, not to be attached to the application)
