To support our growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic transport planner who wants to help make a difference in our logistics processes. In this role, you will support our operations with accurate administration, smooth communication, and a solution-oriented mindset. Are you someone who loves structure, responsibility, and variety? Your Role
Efficient transport planning is essential in the competitive logistics world. As a transport planner, you play a crucial role within the logistics process. To strengthen our team in Antwerp, we are looking for a Transport Planner (m/f).
Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the optimal deployment of over one hundred trucks.
You collect and verify all necessary data to create the route schedule for our drivers.
Subsequently, you pass on the schedule and best routes to them.
If necessary, you adjust the schedule so that agreed delivery times are respected.
You do this in consultation with the customers, also in French and English, and sometimes in German.
To ensure proper follow-up, you use our high-performance systems.
You report directly to the transport manager.
Profile
What profile are we looking for?
Maintaining an overview, thinking two steps ahead, commitment, and enthusiasm are not empty words for you.
You have at least 5 years of experience as a transport planner.
You tackle problems efficiently, even under time pressure.
You possess a healthy dose of assertiveness and persuasiveness. Offer
