Job Description
As a dispatcher, you play a crucial role in coordinating transport and logistics. You ensure that everything runs smoothly, from assigning vehicles to planning routes.
You track tractors, trailers, and drivers via a track & trace system and adjust the schedule when a shipment is at risk of being late.
You are in constant contact with international customers, by telephone and/or via email.
You communicate with drivers, act as a point of contact, and provide solutions.
### Profile
### Experience as a dispatcher in road transport
You are fluent in Dutch; a good knowledge of French and English is required. (Knowledge of German is an advantage)
You have good geographical knowledge of Western Europe.
You are a true team player with strong communication skills
You are assertive when necessary
Stress resistance and working in an organized manner are second nature to you. You are familiar with PCs (MO package) and willing to learn other software
