As a kindergarten teacher, you are academically and administratively co-responsible, actively implementing the Learning Workshop's value platform and quality standards. You contribute to the execution and planning of daily tasks, projects and activities, in the long and short term.
What a working day looks like
Ensure that the kindergarten is run in accordance with the Learning Workshop's value platform
Create a safe, good, engaging and exciting learning environment for children and employees
Share knowledge about children's learning and development, and contribute to improving competence in the kindergarten
Guide and support the other staff in the pedagogical/methodological work
Be a driving force in evaluation work and continuous improvement
Be co-responsible for facilitating good cooperation with parents
In the pedagogical leader's absence, the kindergarten teacher will be a deputy
Who we think can fit the role
You are a relationship-oriented person who sees each individual child. You listen and are responsive to what the children want to convey. You have professional ambitions and a heart for what you do. Furthermore, you have the ability to create engagement and a desire to participate in children's play and development.
You appear to be solution-oriented, flexible and cooperative. To succeed in the role, you must be able to communicate with people from different backgrounds and in different life situations. You enjoy new challenges and work well under pressure, and you are responsible and independent. We want a kindergarten teacher who is good, warm and a caring adult. Playful and ambitious, generous and clear are key words for our staff. You must identify with Læringsverkstedet's values
Qualifications
Approved college education as a kindergarten or preschool teacher
Experience from kindergarten is desirable, but not a requirement
You are an active adult who sees each child individually, who listens and cares about what the children want to convey
Good knowledge of Norwegian, both written and oral
A police certificate must be submitted before employment, but should not be attached to the application
Personal suitability will be emphasized
