Personal assistance is an intervention according to the LSS (Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons Act). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You protect the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to ensuring that everyday life runs smoothly.
About the job
The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is responsive, committed and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done.
We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
    
wants to work for a man in his 40s living in Vendelsö/Haninge
    
has good physical condition to perform transfers
    
has good knowledge of Swedish
    
can tolerate and is comfortable with cats in the home
    
is a non-smoker
It is also an advantage if you:
    
has experience in personal assistance
    
are interested in artwork, music and playing the guitar
    
are looking for long-term work as a personal assistant
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Working hours, seniority and salary:
Current employment form is "as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with a seniority of approximately 70%, i.e. 28 hours/week. The position involves working during the day and evening hours.
Working hours are as follows: Even weeks: Monday and Tuesday 07:45-20:00
Uneven weeks: Monday, Tuesday 07:45-20:00 and Sunday 11:00-18:00
Fixed hourly wage as agreed and other compensation is according to collective agreement.
