What are you going to do?
we are currently looking for a Crop Worker in Bergschenhoek who enjoys hands-on work in the agricultural and horticulture sector. In this role, you will work with crops, technology, and data in a modern greenhouse environment while contributing to innovative crop production.
As a Crop Worker, you will support daily crop production activities and ensure that all agricultural processes run efficiently and according to quality standards. You will work both independently and together with a team, sometimes guiding temporary employees during busy periods.
### Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing essential agricultural and greenhouse tasks such as hand sowing, watering, plant care, twisting, lowering, harvesting, planting, leaf removal, and seed extraction.
- Monitoring crop quality and reporting plant diseases or pests when necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and phytosanitary protocols.
- Maintaining clean and organized workspaces within the greenhouse or production area.
- Handling and processing crop data and administrative records.
- Operating agricultural tools and machinery, such as tractors, forklifts, and other crop-handling equipment.
Collaborating with different teams and potentially working with various crops across multiple locations
