As a Transport Team Leader Night Shift at Bakkerij Braas, you are responsible for the operational coordination of our overnight transport activities. While thousands of bakery products are being delivered to supermarkets and distribution centres, you serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, transport partners and internal departments.
You monitor operational performance, respond quickly to disruptions and ensure that issues are resolved efficiently. Whether it involves delays, vehicle breakdowns, staffing challenges or last-minute changes, you maintain control and keep the operation running smoothly.
Your focus is on continuity, safety, customer service and supporting drivers and transport partners throughout the night. What Will You Do? -
Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, transport partners and internal departments during the night shift. -
Monitor the progress of transport operations and deliveries. -
Coordinate and resolve operational disruptions, incidents and emergencies. -
Communicate with drivers, planners, customers and external transport providers. -
Support drivers with questions regarding routes, deliveries, documentation and procedures. -
Monitor compliance with driving hours regulations, safety standards and company procedures. -
