Product Specialist/Category Specialist

As a Product Specialist, you play a key role in the success of our product range. You'll be in charge of your product families: from purchase to customer delivery. Together with a team of dedicated product specialists and in close collaboration with the Product Manager, you'll ensure that RAJA always offers the right product at the right price.

Product Management from A to Z
You'll manage your product families completely: from purchase and follow-up to delivery to the end customer.
Building a Strong Supplier Network
Together with the Product Manager, you'll maintain and strengthen an extensive network of European suppliers.
Negotiating Like a Pro
You'll negotiate sharply on prices and terms, for both standard products and customized customer solutions.
Translating Price and Market Insights into Action
You'll monitor raw material prices and market trends and use that information to make smart decisions.
International trade fairs and visits:
You'll occasionally visit trade fairs and suppliers abroad to explore their production capabilities and expand your knowledge.
Product selection & assortment
You'll help select new products for our online and offline offerings and keep the assortment fresh, competitive, and sustainable.
Analysis & optimization
You'll analyze sales figures, margins, competition, and supplier performance within your product groups.
Data & quality control
You'll keep product data up-to-date in the ERP system (new products, prices, technical specifications) and monitor quality through inspections and complaint follow-up.
Collaboration
You'll work closely with colleagues from different countries and departments, such as sales, purchasing, logistics, and marketing. You'll report directly to the Product Manager.
You have at least a bachelor's degree, preferably supplemented with several years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
You're energized by developing in-depth product knowledge and exploring the market.
You communicate fluently, think analytically, and work accurately. You know how to prioritize and keep a cool head, even when things get busy.
You speak Dutch and can express yourself well in French and/or English.
You are proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
You are driven, eager to learn, and take ownership of your responsibilities.
