Job Description

As Internal Key Account Team Manager, you will lead the internal Key Account team and be ultimately responsible for its commercial and operational quality. You will combine expertise in key account management with strong people management and act as a driving force to structurally elevate the team to a higher professional level.
You will ensure that commercial agreements, pricing, margins, and service levels are closely monitored and that the team acts proactively and strategically towards our key clients. You will not only be a coach but also a content-sharing partner, decision-maker, and escalation point in complex cases.
• You will manage the internal Key Account Management team and actively coach them in commercial skills, case knowledge, negotiations, and client communication. You will demonstrably elevate the team to a higher level in terms of professionalism, ownership, and results-orientedness.
• You will develop, coordinate, and follow up on call-outs and commercial initiatives for Key Accounts and strategic clients, focusing on revenue growth, profitability, and client retention.
• You closely monitor and follow up on price agreements, contractual terms, and margins. You proactively detect deviations and adjust where necessary.
• You take ownership of After-Sales Service (SAV) files for Key Accounts and ensure that they are followed up correctly, promptly, and customer-focused. You take the lead in complex files.
• You conduct and lead margin discussions for tenders and large files, in close collaboration with the Sales Director and Key Account Managers. You advise and challenge where necessary.
• You establish clear structures, processes, and KPIs and ensure transparent reporting on performance, commercial results, and team development.
• You work closely with the Key Account Managers, Sales Director BeLux, and other internal stakeholders to achieve commercial objectives.
• You take the initiative to implement improvements, optimizations, and best practices within the team and the broader sales organization.
• You are a strong people manager and coach who is energized by developing people and raising the performance level of an experienced team.
• You have a strong commercial and analytical mindset, with thorough knowledge of pricing, margins, and commercial negotiations.
• You dare to take ownership, make decisions, and bear responsibility in complex and strategic projects.
• You work in a structured manner, maintain an overview, and manage based on KPIs and results.
• You communicate clearly, convincingly, and professionally, both internally and with clients.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French. English is a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce and Navision is a strong asset.
• Experience in Key Account Management, B2B sales, or tendering environments is a must.
