Technical Application Owner

As a Technical Application Owner, you'll be part of the operational teams. You'll be the driving force behind the rollout, deployment, and management of specific applications within the organization. You'll keep software available, troubleshoot problems, and implement user requests, while also focusing on the technical health of the IT environment on which the applications run. Finally, you'll also be responsible for answering questions from users and IT colleagues and consulting with users and software vendors.
Within the team of eight employees, responsibilities can be divided into "Business Applications" and "Supporting IT Applications."
The main focus is on the tasks that fall under Business Operations.
Here, you'll be responsible for:
- Monitoring and reporting on your team's components running in production.
- Following up on production issues reported by the business.
- Identifying the root cause and potential solutions for production issues, in collaboration with the development team. - Assisting in testing newly developed software to ensure its continued stability.
- Testing and validating fixes for production issues.
- Providing support during releases.
For the "Supporting IT Applications" component, you will participate in:
- Developing new and modifying existing scripts/configurations through:
       - Analyzing technical requirements
       - Writing/modifying new/existing scripts/configurations
       - Technically testing the developed scripts/configurations
       - Supporting tests performed by key users
- Installing new and/or modified scripts/configurations using existing release procedures
- Managing and monitoring documentation and standards
Depending on the team's needs and your personal interests, specific tasks may be explored in more depth.
Profile
You have a bachelor's degree or can demonstrate equivalent experience. You have experience working with databases and can write queries fluently (in SQL Developer or similar). You also have experience with Linux.
Familiarity with a project and ticket tracking tool (Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, etc.) is a plus.
Your interest in cloud computing is a plus. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace) and scripting tools (Python, PowerShell) is also a plus.
