Job Description

The following position is to be filled in the Faculty of Education:Academic Lecturer (m/f/d)The Faculty of Education is one of the largest faculties at Bielefeld University; its profile and structure are essentially characterized by the interaction of specialist science and educational science. Around 5,500 students study in the faculty's various degree programs. Around 200 employees (including 21 professors) work in research, teaching and administration. This makes the faculty one of the largest educational science faculties in Germany. It houses twelve working groups and a total of six scientific institutions that operate in an international network. Your tasks - teaching tasks (65% during the tenure-track phase, then 80%): Teaching in the specialist Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Educational Science with a specialist focus on social work in the areas of sexuality, power and violence and related to fields of activity in child and youth welfare (e.g. youth work, etc.) in the amount of 16 LVS (during the Tenure track phase 12 LVS), including the associated study and examination achievements and the supervision of final theses - teaching-related tasks (20% during the tenure track phase, then 10%): independent concept development, coordination and implementation of projects in the area of sexuality, power and violence (such as further training courses, development of innovative teaching concepts) - research tasks (10%): independent research and conceptual development in the described area of activity - Other tasks (5% during the tenure-track phase, then 0%) Participation in the academic self-administration and committee work of the faculty as well as in all other areas of activity in the work area. The employment is conducive to scientific qualification, the opportunity for scientific (further) qualification is given. The advertisement is also aimed at scientists who are in the early phase after their doctorate (first to fourth year after doctorate).
