The professorship conveys this through research-differentiated questions about the nursing process. This includes questions about nursing diagnostics including risk factors and assessment procedures, epidemiology, as well as questions about the experiences of those affected, their ways of dealing with and participation strategies, interventions as well as evidence-based outcomes and long-term consequences. The perspective of this understanding is aimed at the individual, the dyad, the community and the family as well as the community and municipality, the school and working life. FOCUS ON TASKSIn teaching, a focus of the professorship is also reflected in the teaching of performance, technical skill and nursing skills. Simulation-based learning is part of the methodological repertoire. The professorship participates in the development of research-based nursing fields of action. Based on this understanding, the Nursing Practice Professorship develops evidence-based concepts for innovations for a new healthcare culture in Germany. Nursing is thought of as an independent first contact actor. As the holder of the position, you are responsible for the implementation and further development of courses in the health-related degree programs of the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences. In teaching, a close connection of methodologically and scientifically sound concepts with practical application situations is expected. This includes regular participation in application-oriented teaching formats, such as project work, simulation learning or skills training. In addition to teaching, commitment to research and further development of the study programs or the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences is expected.YOUR PROFILEYou have proven expertise in direct nursing care practice, which is characterized by the application or development of scientific findings and methods in a specialist area, an age group, a setting or a phase of the care process, a care focus or on a health problem or phenomenon. This position requires permission to use the professional title in accordance with Section 1 Paragraph 1, Section 58 Paragraph 1, 2 or Section 64 of the Nursing Professions Act. Experience in research or practical projects to further develop interprofessional collaboration, to implement nursing concepts and methods or to organize the care process across sectors and professional groups rounds off your profile. The date of the doctoral certificate is decisive.* Further requirements for the doctoral track: special achievements in the application or development of scientific knowledge and methods in at least five years of professional practice, which must have been acquired after completing university studies and of which at least three years must have been carried out outside the university sector; In special cases, proof of professional practice carried out outside the university sector can be provided by the fact that a significant part of the professional activity was carried out in cooperation between the university and non-university professional practice over a period of at least five years. The appointment to a W2 professorship takes place if the specified formal requirements are met, otherwise an appointment to a W1 junior professorship limited to a maximum of six years can be made as a temporary civil servant. In the event of an appointment to a W1 junior professorship, the missing qualification (for the practical track either the professional experience in collaboration with industry or for the doctoral track the special ability to do scientific work, which is usually proven by the quality of a doctorate) must be provided within the framework of the W1 junior professorship. The standard weekly semester teaching obligation is 18 full-time teaching hours for professors (W2) at universities of applied sciences and 6 to 9 teaching hours for junior professors (W1) at universities of applied sciences.
