A professorship for health sciences (W2) is to be filled at the faculty in the founding of the Nuremberg School of Health (SoH) for the winter semester or later. Your tasksYou represent the field of health sciences in teaching, research, transfer and further training. This includes, in particular, theoretical basic and in-depth courses on the subject areas of health sciences as well as related areas. In addition, you have the willingness to offer courses in English, to participate in academic self-administration and to take responsibility for organizing teaching in the relevant modules. You will be actively involved in the further development of the Nuremberg School of Health faculty (currently being founded) and will work in an interdisciplinary manner with other faculties, institutes and competence centers at the university as well as relevant networks and actors in the healthcare sector. We would particularly like to encourage applications from candidates (m/f/d) who have a practice-oriented approach to teaching relevant content and who have a strong profile in terms of cooperation with various health professions and health sciences. Your profile You have a university degree in health sciences, public Health, nursing science or social sciences with a focus on health care or a related subject and have at least five years of professional experience in health care facilities or institutions. In addition, as part of your academic qualification (doctorate or report on achievements appropriate for a doctorate, see the section on employment requirements) and your several years of practical experience, you have acquired in-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas: - Evidence-based practice in the health professions - Prevention and health promotion - Health and social policy - Professional ethical values and attitudes in the health care system - Interprofessional health care and system design - Public health - Public health care - Further development of the health professions - Qualitative methods of empirical social research Good knowledge of German and English is expected, which enables qualified teaching in German and English. Employment requirementsThe basic requirement is a completed university degree. The special ability to carry out scientific work must be proven by the quality of a doctorate or by a report on achievements appropriate for a doctorate. The prerequisite is pedagogical suitability, which is usually proven through experience in teaching, university didactic qualifications and a trial course. Special achievements in the application or development of scientific knowledge and methods must be demonstrated in at least five years of professional practice, which must have been acquired after completing university studies and of which at least three years must have been carried out outside the university sector. In special cases, proof of professional practice carried out outside the university sector can be provided by showing that a significant part of the professional activity was carried out in cooperation between the university and non-university professional practice over a period of at least five years.
