Nr. 376DR-BAYour EmployerMontessori & Friends Education gGmbH is an innovative educational institution that runs several children’s centres, the International Bilingual Montessori Primary School and its own Montessori Academy. These facilities create nurturing learning environments for children based on the educational philosophy of Maria Montessori. At the primary school, 130 children learn in mixed-age groups on the grade-levels 1-6. The historic school building is situated in an idyllic location not far from Lake Wannsee. The opening of a secondary school on the same site is planned for the academic year. The school’s aim is to promote self-directed learning and support the holistic development of the children. Another key focus of the school is bilingual education. Around half of the pupils come from English-speaking or bilingual homes and are taught bilingually from grade 1 in both German and English.Your ResponsibilitiesAs a teacher, you will guide a maximum of 24 students in mixed-age learning groups (grades 1–3) and provide them with individualized support. You will be actively supported by a co-teacher. You will teach all standard elementary school subjects exclusively in English and work according to the principles of Montessori pedagogy.
