The Central Commission for the Navigation of the Rhine (CCNR) has been responsible, since 1815, for regulating and facilitating navigation on the Rhine. This international organization is recognized for its key role in navigation in Europe and intervenes at the intersection of technical, social and environmental issues.
The recruitment firm Eureca is looking for a M/F Conference Translator & Interpreter, native Dutch speaker, for this organization to strengthen its linguistic team.
Fixed-term contract position (duration of 4 years) and prospect of transformation into permanent contract.
Beautiful premises in the heart of Strasbourg with the possibility of partial teleworking.
## THE MISSION WE OFFER YOU
Reporting to the general secretary and within the team of translators, your missions include:
Translation from German and French into Dutch of editorial, technical and sometimes politically sensitive texts, respecting deadlines, quality requirements and current terminology by organizing your workload with autonomy and flexibility;
Monitors the organization's areas of activity as well as new terminology and linguistic developments and updates translation memories and glossaries;
Close collaboration with authors on linguistic and stylistic choices;
Simultaneous interpretation from German into Dutch and vice versa during meetings, working groups and interpreted interviews held at the organization's headquarters;
Preparation of each interpretation mission: familiarization with the working documents, the agenda, video support, targeted terminology research.

## YOU WILL SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION IF
Graduated with a Master's degree in translation and conference interpreting, you have an excellent command of German in addition to your mother tongue, Dutch. Good command of French (B2 – C1) is an asset;
You benefit from at least 3 years of experience in translation and interpretation;
Organized, you are rigorous and you enjoy teamwork. But above all, you have a passion for a job well done!
## YOUR ADVANTAGES
