Software Architect Java - Angular

As a Software Architect, you will develop technical proposals for the architecture within a tech stack based on Java and Angular. Your role is varied and ranges from technical expertise to addressing specific questions and identifying high-level solutions for complex system implementations.
You are responsible for designing and monitoring the software architecture. You understand the needs and provide stable application architectures, which you document using modeling tools.
As a technical team lead, you organize the development team and monitor the developers in their daily work. You are responsible for code quality and conduct code reviews. Your team is organized according to Agile principles.
You will work closely with software developers, functional analysts, and middleware specialists to achieve successful implementations. You are responsible for promoting good practices in design and development.
You are part of the Smals Solution and Application Architect community. Within this community and through tools like Confluence, you will share your knowledge and experiences with your fellow architects.
Profile
You have at least four years of experience in a Java development environment and hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science.
You have broad knowledge of development methods and standards, architecture, and technologies such as Java, Angular, SpringBoot, JBoss (JEE), PostgreSQL, Oracle, JMS, OpenShift, and RESTful.
You can develop a technical implementation plan and successfully complete it within the assigned deadlines.
You have experience with modeling techniques and tools (e.g., Archimate, Enterprise Architect, UML, C4, etc.).
Your leadership, analytical mind, and problem-solving skills are crucial qualities for success. They enable you to lead and support your team and offer stable solutions to our clients in the social security and healthcare sectors.

You are fluent in Dutch and have a working knowledge of French. You are able to draft technical documents in English.
