Lead System Engineer - Storage

To strengthen our Storage team, we are looking for an experienced employee with strong expertise in managing storage solutions.
As Lead System Engineer within the Storage department, you will be responsible for the operational management of the entire ecosystem (including software and hardware components) to ensure the continuity of the service and its components: SAN switches, storage devices, management software, etc., in the areas of block storage, file storage, and object storage.
Knowledge of backup/archiving principles and systems is also required.
Your responsibilities:
Contribute to the operational management of infrastructure services to guarantee the level of quality, availability, and continuity of service.
Develop and ensure appropriate and innovative storage solutions for technical infrastructures to meet the evolution of infrastructure services and customer needs.
Participate in the development of the vision and architectural storage roadmaps for infrastructure services to ensure that the proposed solutions are interoperable and maximize system synergies and flexibility.
Drafting and implementing storage documentation and procedures related to technical infrastructure services to ensure optimal management and maintenance.
Knowing, respecting, and applying information security regulations to guarantee the continuity of the organization, as well as the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of processed data.
Profile
You have an IT degree and relevant experience in a similar role.
You have extensive experience with storage solutions. You are particularly familiar with the concepts related to storage area networks, block storage, file storage, and object storage, as well as the environments and protocols that provide access to these solutions. You also have a thorough understanding of backup and archiving concepts. You have a good knowledge of automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and scripting, as well as automation languages such as bash scripting, Python, PowerShell, and Perl. You master the principles of using APIs (REST APIs) to enable interaction between systems in a highly distributed environment.
You have a good knowledge of storage solutions from NetApp, Dell, Hitachi, and HPE, as well as Brocade SAN networks, and can translate these into datacenter-specific connectivity.
You enjoy exploring new developments in your field and quickly become familiar with new technologies.
Finally, you have a good knowledge of the second national language, including English.
