Are you our new Deputy Station Manager for aircraft maintenance in Bodø?
We are looking for a committed and structured assistant manager for our Base & Line base in Bodø.
Are you a relationship-oriented and goal-oriented person who thrives in an aircraft technical environment with high demands for quality and safety? As an assistant manager, you will have a central role in ensuring efficient operations and high quality in daily maintenance work. In close collaboration with the manager of the base and our 128 skilled employees, you will help develop both people and processes, and contribute to us achieving our operational and strategic goals.

The position includes planning and coordinating staffing and shift arrangements, as well as ensuring good interaction between personnel, management and support functions. You will be an important support for the technical environment and contribute to structure and good flow in everyday life. The work includes following up on HSE routines, reporting and handling deviations and ensuring that maintenance activities follow applicable procedures and regulations.
You will also work with onboarding and offboarding of personnel, as well as administrative coordination of personnel processes in close collaboration with HR and other support functions. As well as contributing to continuous improvement work that strengthens quality, safety and efficiency at the base.

Who are you?
Qualifications and personal characteristics
We are looking for a confident, structured and committed assistant manager who thrives in a supportive and coordinating role. You have a good understanding of administrative processes, personnel-related routines and the interaction between operations, management and support functions.
Experience from aviation, as well as a background in finance and management, would be an advantage. Knowledge of administrative and operational support systems, such as AMOS, GAT and Microsoft Office tools, is also desirable.

Base & Line Maintenance Bodø
Base & Line Maintenance Bodø is the main base for Widerøe's aircraft fleet maintenance at Dash8. The tasks of the aircraft technicians and mechanics at the base are varied, where part of the job is planned maintenance, while other parts of the job are about repairing aircraft in operation throughout Northern Norway.
In total, Base & Line Maintenance in Bodø consists of 128 employees. The head office is located in Bodø and there are a total of 450 employees working in Widerøe Teknisk.
General information
The position reports to Station Manager Base & Line Maintenance, Thorbjørn Franksson Jensen.
The workplace will be in Bodø. Some travel is expected. Salary by agreement. Applicants must attach a CV, certificates and diplomas for the application to be processed.
