Oslo Havn KF develops and operates Norway's largest public cargo and passenger port. We will ensure efficient port operations, supervise traffic in the Oslo Municipality's sea area, and facilitate environmentally friendly sea transport. We contribute to the development and management of an attractive harbor promenade for the enjoyment of the population. Through the wholly owned subsidiary HAV Eiendom AS, we are also developing one of Norway's most attractive land portfolios. We have an ambitious environmental policy, and plan for growth while also becoming a zero-emission port in the long term.Oslo Havn KF, FDVU is seeking 6 summer temporary workers for the summer of 2025.
The FDVU department is responsible for the Management, Operation, Maintenance and Development of the Port of Oslo areas.
As a summer temporary worker, you will be part of our Port Service section and will contribute to practical work that keeps the port running throughout the summer months.
We are looking for you for one of the following areas:
Area maintenance/quay: 4 positions
Area operations: 3 positions
Auto repair shop: 1 position

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for motivated summer temporary workers who enjoy practical work and collaboration. You must be 18 years old by the start date.
Working period and working hours
The working period is June-August. We emphasize how long you can work during this period, so please state your availability clearly in your application. Working hours are generally 07:00-14:35, Monday-Friday.
Job duties
Area maintenance/quay: Maintenance tasks on the port's areas, quays, roads and sites, including painting, clearing and other practical maintenance.
Area operations: Care and watering of plants and flowers, mowing lawns, weeding, picking trash, emptying trash cans, general maintenance of equipment and work tools.
Car repair shop: Maintenance of rolling stock (mechanical tasks) - cars, motorized vehicles and other equipment, order and cleaning in the workshop area
Common to all summer temporary workers: Summer temporary workers can be used across different professional areas during the period, depending on the volume of assignments, weather conditions and need for resources.
Qualifications
Area maintenance/quay: No special professional qualifications are required as training will be provided.
Area operations: General interest in gardening work and experience with this is an advantage, as well as the use of work equipment.
Car repair shop:Experience with maintenance of rolling stock (mechanic)
It will be emphasized positively if you have a certificate as a mechanic, relevant experience of importance will also be emphasized positively

Unskilled summer temporary workers are paid according to the Oslo Municipality's wage regulations in wage level 10, which corresponds to an hourly wage of NOK 246.90.
If you have formal, directly relevant education - for example a vocational certificate, bachelor's degree or equivalent, you will be placed in a higher salary step.
