Job Description

Region Västerbotten works to ensure that good health and sustainable development reinforce each other. We take responsibility for equal welfare and for research and innovation to produce results.
Within the health and medical care administration, primary care, dental care and hospital care are brought together in a joint administration and are organised in county and local health care areas. The local health care area Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Centre, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, Centre for Surgical Operations and primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these will work for good and close care.
Heimdall Health Centre, together with Erikslid, Boliden and Norsjö, forms the primary care base unit west and we have close cooperation between the health centres. Heimdall Health Centre employs 35-40 employees and we have approximately 12,100 listed patients.
Heimdall is a well-functioning, positive and developing workplace with a clear patient focus. The health center is centrally located, close to restaurants, shops and local transport. We offer individual schedules, skills development and physical activity during working hours.
We offer you a job in a workplace that is growing and developing. This service offers many opportunities for those who are committed, curious and want to be involved and have an impact.
Right now, we are especially looking for those who have an interest in working in the area of asthma/COPD or vaccinations as well as emergency and planned reception.
JOB DUTIES
As a district nurse or nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and making people feel better.
You meet and care for children, young people, adults and the elderly in both planned and emergency reception. The job is varied with reception work, telephone advice, testing, conversations, follow-up and other health promotion work. Part of the work may include either asthma/COPD reception or vaccinations and emergency and planned reception.
We expect you to prioritize good treatment and actively work to develop relationships and work methods.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a registered nurse or district nurse. Previous experience from primary care is an advantage. It is an advantage if you have expertise in one or more of the following areas: asthma/COPD, vaccinations or if you have completed the "spirometrist card" course.
As a person, you are flexible and have good collaboration skills. You enjoy working independently and work well in a team. You plan your work based on the health center's mission and current needs, in collaboration with colleagues and other employees. You are positive about changes and development and actively contribute to a good work environment in the workplace.
