We are now looking for a rehabilitation assistant for a summer temporary position to join our competent, committed and friendly team in rehabilitation.
About us Aleris Rehab Station conducts specialized neurological rehabilitation in both outpatient and inpatient care as well as personal assistance. Our business is based on extensive experience – we have worked with neurological rehabilitation since 1987.
We are located in Frösundavik in Solna, in a large and modern facility that combines historic buildings with new living rooms, treatment rooms and a restaurant. The location in Hagaparken, with proximity to Brunnsviken, creates a pleasant and calm environment for both patients and employees.
Aleris Rehab Station is a national and international rehabilitation center with extensive research and education activities and well-developed interdisciplinary teamwork.
In inpatient care, you will meet patients with neurological injuries and diseases, orthopedic injuries or rehabilitation needs after surgery. We have 57 care beds and a total of 8 counselors work in our teams.
In the teams, you will work closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation instructors, counselors, speech therapists, nurses, nursing assistants, doctors and psychologists.
The role As a rehabilitation assistant in inpatient care, you will meet patients with:
    
neurological injuries or diseases
    
orthopedic injuries
    
need for interdisciplinary rehabilitation after surgery
The treatment times vary from about 3 days up to 3 months.
You are part of an interdisciplinary team consisting of, among others, a rehabilitation assistant, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, rehabilitation instructor, counselor, speech therapist, nurse, assistant nurse, doctor and psychologist.
As a rehabilitation assistant, you work with patients both individually and in groups. Examples of tasks:
    
design individual training programs (gym or home training)
    
lead training groups such as fitness, sports and circuit training
    
documentation in patient records
    
administrative tasks related to rehabilitation
    
participate in the team's planning and implementation of patient-centered rehabilitation
