The Department of Substance Abuse and Addiction, Detoxification Unit, building B has a 100% temporary position available for a nurse/social worker. The temporary position is available for immediate start and lasts until 02.08.26, with the possibility of extension.

Detoxification post, building B offers 24-hour treatment for drug addicts over 18 years of age. The detoxification post has 13 inpatient beds and offers elective admissions for detoxification and assessment as well as facilitation/motivation for further treatment.
Detoxification post, building B is part of the Department of Substance Abuse and Addiction, which offers interdisciplinary specialized substance abuse treatment (TSB) to patients with substance abuse and addiction problems and complex challenges in Vestfold, and consists of outpatient services as well as inpatient treatment for detoxification, assessment and treatment. Job Responsibilities
Primary contact responsibility
Follow up on routines and measures around patients
### Tasks related to patient services, including teaching/groups
Collaboration with other professional groups internally and externally
Medication management and other nursing/social care tasks
Report and document in line with internal routines and applicable legislation
The position is currently part of a two-part rotation (day and evening) with work every fourth weekend
### Qualifications
Norwegian authorization as a nurse/social care worker
### Experience from substance abuse work is desirable
### Experience in dealing with aggression issues is desirable
Good digital competence and good system understanding
Applicants must have a class B driver's license
Good communication skills in Norwegian (Scandinavian) both verbally and in writing
A residence and work permit in Norway is required
