- required documents: - written application for admission to service in the Border Guard addressed to the Commander of the Nadodrzańskie Border Guard Unit, along with justification,
- completed personal questionnaire for the candidate for service in the Border Guard,
- one current color photograph in the format required for an ID card,
- copy of the ID card,
- copy of the military service booklet or certificate from the Military Recruitment Center, provided the candidate for service is included in the military records, and in the case of professional soldiers - the professional soldier's service ID and a current decision of a military medical board on the ability to perform professional military service,
- copy of employment or service certificates from previous places of employment or service, provided the candidate was previously in an employment or service relationship,
- in the case of candidates for service with a current security clearance authorizing access to classified information - a copy of a current certificate of no criminal record from the National Criminal Register, issued no earlier than six months from the date of submission of the application for admission to service;
- copies of documents confirming education and professional qualifications, including specialist qualifications, or documents confirming studies in the final year of upper secondary school referred to in Art. 18, paragraph 1, item 2, letter a). 4, b, and e of the Act of 14 December Education Law,
- a copy of the abridged birth certificate of the candidate for service,
- a copy of the abridged marriage certificate of the candidate for service (if applicable),
- a copy of the candidate's passport, if the candidate has one (personalization page and pages containing stamps, visas, and other annotations),
- a certificate of completion of secondary school, as requested
