What will your role entail as an Automation Engineer in the Poperinge region?
You'll lead the development, programming, and optimization of automation projects.
You'll configure new systems, improve existing ones, and analyze malfunctions.
Testing, simulating, and commissioning systems are part of your daily challenges.
You'll monitor the safety and reliability of the systems and ensure that everything complies with applicable standards.
You'll guide internal technicians and operators during the implementation of new projects and work closely with colleagues in production, maintenance, and external partners to continuously improve processes. In addition to the technical side, you will actively contribute to innovative and sustainable solutions that increase efficiency.

A bachelor's or master's degree in electromechanics, automation, or industrial sciences (or equivalent experience).
Several years of experience in industrial automation or process engineering.
Knowledge of PLC programming.
An analytical mind and a hands-on approach. You don't just think in terms of solutions; you implement them.
Communicative and team-oriented, but also strong independently.
Fluent Dutch, with a basic command of French and English.
