Our recruitment agency is currently seeking, on behalf of our client:
Area Controller (m/f/d) in Winterberg
## Location: Winterberg
Central location
## Working hours: Full-time
Size: International chain with more than 10 hotels in Germany
## Your future responsibilities:
Responsibility for the financial, administrative, and legal management of the German subsidiary, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer
Personnel management of the local finance and accounting department as well as the HR team
Responsibility for accounting, taxes, controlling, human resources, and contracts
Representation of the German subsidiary to external authorities and stakeholders
Monitoring all general HR matters and leading the nationwide implementation of the HR strategy
### Your profile:
At least five years of professional experience in comparable positions in the German hotel industry, university degree in business administration/management (ideally with a focus on accounting)
Solid knowledge of taxes and German law
Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
### Experience in Independent and professional preparation of local annual financial statements
### Experience in leading and expanding a small team
Fluent German and English skills (absolutely essential)
