Health, care and welfare consists of 6 units: home care, nursing home care, environmental therapy, health care, children and youth services and Nav. In addition, the service office, quality department, SLT coordinator and municipal chief physician belong to the service area.

We have a 100% permanent position available as a finance supervisor in NAV Vefsna, and are looking for someone who combines professional security with human warmth. Someone who finds motivation in helping people gain better control of their finances - and everyday life. We have formalized a collaboration with Grane municipality, and the office location can therefore be Trofors or Mosjøen.
A little about the job:

This is a position for you who like to work both independently and in a team, have good structure, and are motivated by creating security and mastery for others.
What will you work on?
Guide users through financial challenges and find good solutions
Create mastery through the preparation of budgets and plans that give users control, predictability and the opportunity to build their finances step by step
Get an overview where others see chaos - map debts, clean up their finances and point out possible ways forward
Voluntary or compulsory management of the finances of users who need it
Interact with creditors, the bailiff and other relevant agencies
Assess the need for extrajudicial and legal debt arrangements
Contribute to interdisciplinary processes and work closely with other professional groups in the office
Keep up to date with laws and regulations within debt, finances and management
Nav is constantly developing, which means that changes in responsibilities and work tasks must be expected.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a colleague with relevant education and good relational skills. Academic background is important, but personal suitability, good attitudes and the ability to meet people in demanding situations are equally important.
You must have good Norwegian skills and good written and oral presentation skills.

Education in economics, social studies or other relevant subject background
Good understanding of personal finance and experience with guidance
Ability to build trust and communicate clearly and respectfully
Good structure and work peace - even when situations are demanding
Good ICT skills
Commitment to the social mission and desire to make a difference
