Introduction
To mark the 100th anniversary of the Weissenhof Estate in 2027, the City of Stuttgart is building the Weissenhof.Forum as a new visitor and information center. The Friends of the Weissenhof Estate Association (Freunde der Weissenhofsiedlung e.V.), which has been responsible for the Weissenhof Museum in the Le Corbusier House since 2006, will operate the center. The new building will include exhibition spaces, event spaces, and new visitor infrastructure. Visitor numbers are expected to increase significantly due to the new building, the anniversary, and the accompanying IBA'27 (International Building Exhibition 2027).
We need to expand our team to meet these new challenges.
The Weissenhof Estate is an icon of modernist architecture. Its target audience includes school and university students as well as professionals in the fields of architecture, art, and design. It has been awarded the European Heritage Label as part of the Werkbund Estates network. The Le Corbusier Houses are also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Your tasks
You will be responsible for and document the technical setup of the digital systems (cash registers, networks, control systems) for the new building.
You will be responsible for the functionality of the technical and digital systems during operation.
You will be responsible for and document the media and exhibition technology as well as the IT systems used.
You will coordinate with external service providers and IT support staff.
You will be responsible for the technical processes at events.
You will assist with setup and dismantling work and perform basic janitorial tasks.
### Your profile
Completed technical vocational training or equivalent professional experience, e.g. B. as a specialist in event technology, media technology, IT systems electronics, or a comparable field
### Experience with digital systems (e.g., point-of-sale systems, servers, networks)
Manual dexterity and an understanding of technical and digital contexts
Willingness to work outside of regular working hours (events)
Structured, independent, and responsible work ethic
### Experience in collaborating with associations and volunteers
Commitment and willingness to contribute in all areas of the museum

A permanent part-time position (50%, with the possibility of increasing hours in 2027), starting as soon as possible
An office workspace at the Weissenhof (partial remote work possible)
