Introduction
Are you commercially driven, technically savvy, and do you have a knack for finding new customers? Are you passionate about the paint and finishing industry and do you know how to build lasting relationships? For a professional wholesaler of finishing materials in the Genk region, we are looking for a sales representative who will both maintain existing customers and attract new ones.
Your Responsibilities
As a sales representative, you will be the face of the organization and responsible for:
Prospecting: Actively seeking new customers in the finishing and painting industry through cold calling, networking, and trade fairs.
Relationship Management: Maintaining and further developing lasting relationships with new and existing customers (customers), primarily painters, but also municipalities, schools, hospitals, and industry.
Product Advice: Advising customers on our product range and offering customized solutions.
Market Monitoring: Monitoring trends and developments in the market to identify opportunities.
Reporting and Follow-up: Capturing leads in the CRM system and providing structured follow-up to potential customers and quotes. Consult with the Genk store to optimally coordinate customer visits and inventory.
Your Profile
You are:
Commercially driven with experience in cold calling and achieving targets.
Technically savvy, preferably with experience in the painting, finishing, or construction sectors.
Strong communication skills: you are a good listener, understand customer needs, and provide convincing advice.
Independent, organized, and persistent in the face of setbacks.
Technologically adept and familiar with CRM systems for structured follow-up.
Fluent in Dutch.

Competitive gross monthly salary: €3,200–4,000 + attractive bonus scheme (average annual bonus: €12,000).
