Your Tasks
At Sodexo, we are currently looking for a part-time colleague to join our kitchen team in Sint-Niklaas for a restaurant located above a furniture store.
As a kitchen, counter, and cashier in Sint-Niklaas, your responsibilities include:
Preparing and restocking the counters: You ensure that the counters are always neatly and fully stocked with sandwiches, salads, and snacks for customers in the restaurant.
Preparing and serving: You prepare and serve both hot and cold dishes and drinks. You assist with the preparation of sandwiches and salads.
Serving and cashier: You assist customers at the counter and at the table, and operate the cash register. Cleaning: You clear the counters and tables and ensure clean dishes.
Safety Awareness: You have a zero-risk mindset and don't compromise on safety, both for yourself and for your colleagues, consumers, and customers.
Your Profile
For the vacancy for a kitchen assistant (counter and cash register) (25 hours) in Sint-Niklaas, we are looking for someone with the following profile:
You are fluent in Dutch.
You have experience in a similar role in the hospitality and kitchen industry.
You are customer-focused.
You are open to weekend work (every Sunday) and later day shifts (your workday usually starts at 11:30 AM and on Sundays you start at 1:00 PM).
You can get to work: This location is not easily accessible by public transport.
You are a team player – with a "One Team Approach."

A permanent contract with Sodexo as a worker
A permanent contract of 25 hours
Fixed workdays on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays
Always have Tuesdays and Saturdays off
You work later shifts.
You start your workday at 11:30 or 11:00 AM and work until approximately 4:00 or 4:30 PM.
On Sundays, you always work from 1:00 PM to 6:15 PM.
