The institutional care consists of:
Kabelvåg Nursing Home - 25 apartments.
Marithaugen Nursing Home - 48 places.
Svolvær Nursing Home - 16 apartments.
At Kabelvåg Nursing Home we provide care services to 25 residents, divided into two living groups.
Kabelvåg Nursing Home is constantly developing, with exciting and varying tasks. Our main goal is that each resident will be met with professional competence, care and respect in an inclusive and pleasant living environment where person-centered care is central.
We now have 3 permanent, 62% night positions available at Kabelvåg Nursing Home.
Tasks
Documentation requirements in accordance with laws and regulations.
Care, nursing, medication treatment and follow-up of basic needs for our residents.
Participate in the general treatment process.
Contribute professionally through interdisciplinary practice and knowledge sharing.
Participate in work with systematic quality work and continuous improvement of the business.
Be responsible for training/guidance/ of students and apprentices.
Contribute to improvement work in collaboration with professional teams.
Qualifications
Approved as an authorized health professional, auxiliary nurse. Students in health professions are encouraged to apply and others with relevant experience.
Further education in geriatric psychiatry, dementia and geriatrics is desirable.
Good knowledge of Norwegian, both written and oral.
Good computer skills.
Important to be able to work person-centered.
