Medical ward B4 is an exciting medical ward, which has 21 places in the fields of lung, hematology and cancer. Work tasks range from quick decisions in acute situations to planned treatment courses with good involvement of patients and relatives. The nurses are divided into teams/groups that look after patients in the various fields.
We work closely with the medical teams to provide high quality treatment and patient care. As a nurse, you should have an interest in one or more of our fields.

Although the working day can sometimes be hectic, we have a broad professional spectrum and very good learning opportunities. We place great emphasis on thorough training and close follow-up. We have the following positions available:
1x 60% permanent position
Starting after further agreement with the manager.
Job Responsibilities
Group leader where you are responsible for a group of patients, as well as for leading nurses and health professionals who belong to this team
Patient care
Nursing procedures
Blood sampling
Interaction with doctors, municipalities/other hospitals and professional groups both inside and outside the hospital
Care for relatives
Documentation
Medication management (use of Metavision)
Handling of medical technical equipment
Qualifications
Norwegian authorization as a nurse
You must have good knowledge of Norwegian, both oral and written
Basic digital skills and confidence in using administrative systems
There is a desire for further education in pulmonary nursing or cancer care, but not set as a requirement

You are positive, open and willing to learn and share knowledge
You have good collaboration skills
You are a good and inclusive colleague who helps and supports your colleagues
You have good observation skills and contribute to the best possible patient care
Works structured and is tidy
