The Roads, Traffic and Parks Unit has a 100% permanent position available as a gardener/landscape gardener.
The unit is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's road network, street lights, parking spaces and parking arrangements, as well as parks, green and open-air areas. The work of strengthening traffic safety on municipal roads and streets is also a central part of our mission.
The vacant position is linked to the park department, which is responsible for the operation and maintenance of municipal parks, green areas, playgrounds, Guldbergaunet sports facilities, open areas and other municipal outdoor areas.
With us, you will have a varied and active working day outdoors in different environments, where you will be able to use your professional expertise in practice. You will contribute to creating attractive, safe and pleasant outdoor spaces for residents and visitors. The work follows the seasons and ranges from planting and care to maintenance and development of green areas.

Job duties
This is what you will work with us
Care and maintenance of parks, green areas and outdoor facilities
Planting, pruning and caring for trees, shrubs and flowers
Forestry
Lawn mowing and seasonal green work
Maintenance of paths, hiking trails and other municipal outdoor areas
Contribute to the unit's other operational tasks when needed
Use of machinery, vehicles and special equipment related to operations
Contribute to safe, beautiful and functional outdoor areas
Other tasks within the unit's area of responsibility may be added to the position
Watchkeeping and snow plowing readiness must be expected
Qualifications
This is what we are looking for in you
Education and practical experience as a gardener or equivalent. Relevant work experience can make up for theoretical education
Interest in professional quality and good solutions within the green area
Experience with the use of relevant equipment and machinery
Driver's license class min class BE and machine operator's license
If you lack a certificate of competence for the equipment we use, you must be willing to take it
