Job Description

Do you want to make a difference for people who need support to get into work, education or activity? Are you good at following up on people in demanding life situations – and are you motivated by creating opportunities in working life?
Nav Hundvåg and Storhaug are now looking for a committed supervisor for a permanent position in the "Job search and guidance" department. You will be part of a team of five people who work with following up on young adults up to 30 years of age, with the goal of strengthening their opportunities for work, education and participation in work-related activities.
In the role, you will, among other things, map people's opportunities and resources, motivate for change, manage Nav's regulations and process cases in accordance with applicable laws. At the same time, you work in close collaboration with local businesses and other partners.
You will be part of an office with around 85 employees divided into three departments. We are centrally located at Storhaug in Stavanger East. Job duties
Map the individual's resources and opportunities with the goal of employment.
Follow-up and guidance of people who need help to get into work, activity or education.
Provide information and engage them to participate in work, activity or education.
Prepare needs and work ability assessments.
Case processing in accordance with relevant legislation.
Collaborate with employers, event organizers and the health care system.
Provide advice and guidance in our public reception.
Nav is constantly changing and developing, and there may be changes in work tasks and areas of responsibility over time.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
Completed education equivalent to a bachelor's degree. Relevant education and/or work experience can compensate for the education requirement.
Experience from work where you have actively worked with guidance, with the goal of employment and/or education.
Experience working with people in vulnerable situations.
Very good digital competence/skills, and be able to easily acquire new digital tools. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 is preferred.
Good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian (minimum B2).
We want you to have:
Interest in and knowledge of the local labor market.
Experience from the staffing industry.
Experience from working with young adults.
 
Diplomas, certificates and equivalent must be attached to the application electronically at the time of application. Foreign educational degrees must be approved by NOKUT or the Directorate for Higher Education and Competence.
