Since its inception in 1972, Ringstabekk School has been committed to being a learning organization in constant development. Interdisciplinary, problem-based working methods such as project work, storyline, the PBL method, simulations and entrepreneurship are central to our everyday lives.
The teachers are organized in interdisciplinary teams that collaborate closely on the students' social and academic development in a holistic perspective. A teaching team of 4-5 teachers is responsible for the education of a large class of 60-75 students. The school year is divided into 6 periods, where each of the periods has an overall interdisciplinary theme.
Our teachers have a high degree of pedagogical and didactic awareness, a desire to develop themselves together with colleagues and a big heart for all types of students.
For more information about the school, see the school's website: www.ringstabekk.net
As support for teachers and students, we also have a school assistant, social worker, counselor, librarian and cafeteria worker, all of whom are important parts of the adult team around the students.
