Our students need a new singing teacher - is that you?
Åsnes Cultural School is looking for a singing teacher in a 35% permanent position, with a main focus on rhythmic singing.
The cultural school is located in brand new premises at Åsnes primary school, with access to its own concert hall and Matoma Creative Complex - a state-of-the-art studio and production environment.
We are passionate about giving children and young people the opportunity to develop their artistic expression. We are now looking for a committed singing teacher who can help develop the students' voice, mastery and joy of singing in a safe and inspiring learning environment.
The cultural school is organized under the area of culture, society and volunteering in Åsnes municipality.
### Tasks
Teaching singing in rhythmic genres, individually and in groups
Planning and implementing teaching programs adapted to the individual student
Contribute to the students' mastery, development and joy of singing
Participation in concerts, performances and projects
Collaboration with colleagues on interdisciplinary offers and productions
Contribute to the development of the cultural school's teaching offerings
### Qualifications
Relevant art and pedagogical college education, preferably in rhythmic music
Relevant teaching experience and/or artistic practice in the subject area
Relevant experience from the subject area can compensate for the educational requirement
Personal suitability will be emphasized
Personal qualities
Has a good pedagogical approach in teaching
Is committed and able to inspire and motivate students
Has good communication and collaboration skills
Wants to contribute to the development of the cultural school
Contributes to an inclusive and inspiring learning environment
