For our Gelateria La Romana in Frankfurt am Main, we're seeking an Assistant Store Manager (m/f/d) to jointly manage the store with our Store Manager, keep the team together, and ensure that guests feel welcome every day.
A degree or a perfect resume isn't crucial for us—your personality is more important than your title.
Your Role:
As Assistant Store Manager, you'll be the Store Manager's right hand and share responsibility for the successful operation of our gelateria. You'll actively participate in day-to-day operations, support team leadership, and ensure that our high standards of quality and service are upheld every day. At the same time, you'll gradually develop into a leadership role with increased responsibility.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Store Manager in organizing and managing daily store operations
Actively participating in sales and serving as a role model in service and customer interaction as a shift supervisor
Supporting the onboarding, motivation, and development of the team
Participating in creating work schedules and coordinating shifts and absences
Supporting with ordering merchandise, warehouse organization, and inventory control
Ensuring our high standards in quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and service
Responsibility for smooth operations during your shifts and independently assuming shift supervision in the Store Manager's absence
Close collaboration with the Store Manager and the management team
Actively contributing to an exceptional customer experience and sustainable customer loyalty
Profile
Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a comparable industry is advantageous but not required
Hands-on mentality and a willingness to actively participate
Sense of responsibility and motivation to assume leadership responsibilities
Structured, solution-oriented, and independent work style
Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Strong customer and service orientation Strong quality awareness
Enjoyment of teamwork and motivating and developing people
Interest in a long-term collaboration with genuine development opportunities
Good German skills; additional languages are an advantage
