What will you do?
As a childminder, you'll care for children aged 0 to 3.5 years old in your home, during hours of your choosing and with support from i-mens. You'll transform your home into a challenging, safe, and stimulating environment for children. Your responsibilities as a childminder are varied:
You guide children through their first steps in life and stimulate their development.
You provide a hygienic, healthy, and stimulating play environment for babies and toddlers.
You cater to the children's talents and interests.
You consider the children's emotional needs.
You provide care and support and organize educational, creative daytime activities.
You ensure a good balance between play, care, rest, and mealtimes in your daily schedule.
You may also organize after-school care for school-aged children up to 12 years old.
You work with the family as a partner in parenting. You exchange information with the parents and make arrangements together.
You keep careful track of which children were present and when they were dropped off and picked up.
You have a heart for children and help them take their first steps in the world.
You are caring and patient.
You are a good organizer. You'll engage spontaneously and effectively with children, parents, and the service's manager(s). This is how we collaborate best!
As a childminder, you'll need valid proof of qualifications. We're happy to discuss with you whether your qualifications are already eligible. If you don't yet have the right qualification, there are several ways to obtain one. We're happy to guide you through the process.
