**CONSERVATOR FOR CULTURAL HERITAGE, probationary work 5 months, permanent contract, full-time, 40 hours**
Responsible for performing conservation and restoration interventions; organizing work, professionally leading, and assigning tasks to restoration technicians in conservation-restoration workshops; preparing instructions and supervising the execution of restoration and conservation procedures. Collaborates professionally with curators in handling materials, fieldwork, preventive conservation, and exhibition preparation. Prepares materials for storage, transport, exhibitions, and loans. Collects data, samples, and other materials related to restoration interventions. Regularly monitors the condition of materials and environments in storage and exhibition spaces.

Prepares programs for the conservation and restoration of museum materials and implements them; develops proposals for object conservation policies, monitoring and microclimate control policies, object condition checking policies, general guidelines, and documents required by the museum in this field. Maintains documentation of conservation-restoration interventions. Participates in other museum projects, monitors climatic conditions in storage and exhibition areas, contributes to the preparation of the museum’s strategic plan and other joint museum documents, plans conservation work within annual plans, participates in exhibition and project preparation, and performs all other tasks within this scope or as assigned by the director.

Requirements: knowledge of conservation-restoration procedures for wood, metal, and other technical heritage materials. Professional certification as a conservator-restorer is desirable. Start date: April 1, 2026.
