**TECHNICAL HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT FOR INVESTMENT MAINTENANCE, OPERATIONS, AND CLEANING – M/F**

Job location, LJUBLJANA , Central Slovenia - Slovenia

**BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKERS AND MANAGERS, probationary work 5 months, permanent contract, full-time, 40 hours**
Responsible for performing the most demanding tasks within the department, leading, coordinating, assigning, and supervising the work of the investment and ongoing maintenance, operations, and cleaning team. Provides direct assistance in organizing the department’s work, coordinates and supervises maintenance of external and internal spaces and surfaces (cleaning, security, gardening, removal of leaves and snow) as well as craft and other tasks.

Manages energy accounting and monitors the operation of energy systems, orders and supervises periodic preventive inspections of equipment and devices, performs regular maintenance of buildings, spaces, equipment, and devices, and oversees all cleaning/maintenance tasks and proper orderliness of spaces. Ensures safety measures when using machinery and equipment, monitors operation of devices, and reports major repairs on time. Handles tasks related to protection of the institute’s property, coordinates and executes tasks related to the vehicle fleet, prepares maintenance and cleaning plans, and manages procurement of equipment and other work resources. Maintains records and archives documentation within the work area and performs all other tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the organizational unit according to the instructions of the department head. Performs other tasks assigned by the director in accordance with legislation, internal regulations, and professional competence.

Requirements: knowledge of work-related computer programs, certification for electrical maintenance, training program for maintenance janitors, certification for elevator operators, ability to extinguish initial fires and conduct evacuation, ability to work at heights, and knowledge of one foreign language at higher education level.

Work schedule: irregular hours, work on Sundays, work on legally recognized holidays, occasional work from home, constant readiness. Probationary work: 5 months.
