Job location, MARIBOR , Drava - Slovenia

Accountant, probationary work 6 months, permanent contract, full-time, 40 hours. Responsibilities include:

* Preparation and execution of financial agreements
* Preparing claims
* Monitoring accounting legislation
* Ensuring legality and efficiency of financial operations
* Payment transactions (transfers, compensations)
* Billing for building maintenance
* Reviewing receivables and debt collection
* Payroll processing
* Preparing accounting entries
* VAT calculation
* Recording and accounting of joint projects with external partners
* Organizing and executing international payments
* Independently managing the general ledger
* Managing subsidiary ledgers with postings and entries
* Preparing statistics and reports
* Maintaining prescribed records
* Preparing data and reports
* Other professional tasks assigned by the manager or director

The work requires a high level of initiative; tasks are only outlined generally, so choosing how to execute them using known procedures is highly independent. Continuous professional development and monitoring of regulations are required.
