Job location, LJUBLJANA , Central Slovenia - Slovenia

**Environmental Protection Specialists**, probationary period of **5 months**, **fixed-term employment** until **31 December 2028** with the possibility of long-term cooperation, full-time, **40 hours per week**.

Responsibilities include: **participating in the preparation and implementation of programs in their field of work; performing methodological, organizational, and operational professional tasks; independently preparing complex analyses, development projects, information, reports, and other demanding materials; designing program solutions, development tasks, and systemic solutions; preparing interpretative materials; managing land acquisition procedures, communicating with landowners, and executing public procurements; implementing measures from the LIFE4ADAPT project**.

Requirements: **knowledge of regulations in the institution’s field of activity; project management skills; knowledge of nature and cultural heritage protection, spatial and regional development, and rural development; familiarity with protected areas; ability to maintain park infrastructure and land; knowledge of GIS (e.g., QGIS) is desirable; excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); knowledge of botany is a plus; self-initiative, communication and organizational skills, and accuracy in work**.
