**Antiquarian with Coordination Responsibility for Murberget Open-Air Museum**

V�sternorrland Museum has a mission to preserve, develop, and make the county�s cultural heritage and environments accessible. The museum�s activities are extensive and include a broad visitor experience delivered in physical museum spaces and digital channels, collection management, and cultural environment preservation. The museum building and Murberget Open-Air Museum are located in H�rn�sand, but the mission spans the entire V�sternorrland region.

Murberget Open-Air Museum is a popular destination in H�rn�sand. The museum is open year-round, with program activities and various events during the summer. The site is an important platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration, with a clear focus on sustainability.

We are now seeking an antiquarian to drive the continued development of the open-air museum. The work is very varied.

The role includes managing and developing museum activities at the open-air museum, i.e., coordinating and developing content and public programs, building and sharing knowledge, as well as maintaining and arranging the cultural-historical environments. During the summer, some supervision of staff is included.

As an antiquarian with coordination responsibility for the open-air museum, you belong to the department for Cultural Environment, Crafts, and Open-Air Museum.

**Responsibilities**

Your tasks include:

* Planning and delivering the public program, including tours, courses, knowledge-sharing activities, and communication.
* Planning and coordinating collaborations with external actors, such as educational institutions, authorities, associations, and companies.
* Internal coordination with technicians, hosts, and other antiquarians.
* Responsible for developing and maintaining the open-air museum�s public environments and other cultural-historical settings, including props (opening, winterizing, ongoing maintenance of areas, interiors, and outdoor spaces).
* Supervising interns and volunteers within the museum�s scope.
* Participating in project applications and project implementation.
* Performing other tasks as required within the museum�s activities.

**Qualifications**

You have:

* At least a Bachelor�s degree in a cultural-historical field, such as ethnology, history, or museology.
* At least 1 year of experience working in cultural heritage, tourism, or other relevant fields.
* Experience in coordination, project management, or supervision.
* Strong ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
* Good digital literacy.
* A valid driver�s license (B).

**Additional Information**

* Permanent position, 6-month probation.
* Full-time (100%). Evening and weekend work may be required.
