Job Description

Regional Technical Assistant (RTA) � Aquitaine Shooting League (FFTIR)

The Aquitaine Shooting League (FFTIR) is recruiting a Regional Technical Assistant (RTA). In general, the role of the RTA is to implement the decisions of the Board of Directors and to support the development of the association in line with its sporting and associative objectives. The position reports to the President of the League and the Development Officer.

**Under the authority of the League President, your responsibilities include:**

* Leading and coordinating the Regional Technical Team (ETR).
* Designing, implementing, and monitoring annual action plans.
* Administrative management of initiatives.
* Organizing and attending League and partner meetings.
* Detecting and training promising athletes: organizing and participating in training sessions for young members within the Regional Training Path (PER).
* Initial and ongoing training for volunteer staff of the ETR (club facilitators and instructors, certified federal coaches).
* Overseeing communication, promotion, and development initiatives, in line with FFTIR values and ethics (including public and specific target groups; online sessions possible).
* Sports management: preparing shooting schedules, summoning referees, entering results.
* Promoting the sport to increase membership by introducing Shooting Sports both in clubs and outside shooting ranges.
* Supporting the development of departmental committees and League clubs.
* Conducting analyses and producing reports on the League�s progress.

**Required profile:**

* Minimum qualifications: Level 5 � State Diploma in Youth, Popular Education, and Sport (DEJEPS) with a focus on �Shooting Sports,� or a Professional Qualification Certificate as a Shooting Instructor if DEJEPS is in progress.
* Professional experience in the associative sector is recommended.

**Core knowledge:**

* General knowledge of sports regulations.
* In-depth knowledge of technical fundamentals, firearms, and operational procedures.
* Training methodology expertise.
* Effective communication with athletes or trainees.
* Proficiency in office software, basic IT, and FFTIR-specific tools.

**Contract details:**

* Permanent contract, Group 4 or 5 under the National Sports Convention.
* Probation period: 3 months.

**Work locations:**

* Aquitaine Shooting League headquarters (Talence) and shooting ranges in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
* Regional territory for development, coach training, and athlete training.
* National territory for specific sports team supervision during competitions.
* Preparation, delivery, and setup of League equipment during competitions (lifting required).

**Working hours:**

* 35 hours per week. Includes weekends and school holidays. Work 3 weekends out of 4.
* Approximately 60% of the time on ranges and 40% on administrative duties.

**Requirements:**

* Driving license (B) and personal vehicle required.
* League provides a vehicle and contributes to expenses and equipment to enable successful mission execution.
