**Lifeguard / Swimming Instructor (M/F)**

**Role:**
Participate in or lead swimming instruction and supervision activities in the Mayotte territory.

**Key Activities:**

**Supervision and Facilitation of Aquatic Activities:**

* Adapt interventions according to the audience, skill levels, and learning capacities, in line with the educational project.
* Implement tools for animation and supervision (water games, lanes, learning equipment).
* Daily inspection of the infirmary.
* Daily check of available rescue equipment.
* Maintain educational and training materials.

**Safety, Surveillance, and Prevention in Aquatic Activities:**

* Detect equipment anomalies.
* Apply regulations and ensure users comply.
* Take initiative in emergencies.
* Follow intervention procedures to ensure user safety (including POSS).
* Identify risky behaviors.
* Communicate with users and resolve conflicts.

**Management and Organization:**

* Set up and manage tools for organization and equipment management.
* Prepare for each session.
* Produce activity reports.

**Profile:**

**Education:**

* BEESAN or BPEPS AAN certification.
* Experience in project setup, coordination, or as a pool manager is strongly recommended.
* Up-to-date with first aid recertification (PSE1 and PSE2) for CAEPMNS and BEESAN (five-year refresher).
* Proficient in computer tools (internet, email, Office suite).

**Required Skills:**

* **Knowledge:** Pedagogy of physical and sports activities (techniques and tools); regulations for aquatic activities, legal and environmental aspects of APS; POSS and emergency procedures.
* **Practical skills:** Ensure safety rules are applied; manage groups; work autonomously.
* **Personal qualities:** Good interpersonal skills, responsiveness, teamwork ability.

**Position Details:**

* Contract: 1-year fixed-term (CDD), starting as soon as possible.
* Hours: 35 hours/week.
* Salary: �2,396 gross per month.

**Reporting Line:**

* President of the GE and the General Director.

**Work Location:**

* Department of Mayotte.
