What will you do?

You will lead the soil cultivation team. This team handles machine maintenance and landscaping. They also handle transports to construction sites and organize the collection of pruning waste and green waste.
You will organize and schedule landscaping and safety training for the parks department.
You will coordinate the planning and workload allocation of work orders and mini-projects submitted by the parks departments. You will translate everything into an annual plan.
You will ensure efficient operations. You will safeguard the safety and well-being of employees and their surroundings. You record all information about completed work in the soil database.
You continuously update and optimize work processes.
You conduct performance and appraisal reviews with your employees.
You ensure good cooperation with other teams.

We welcome you to the soil cultivation team. This team works throughout the city of Antwerp. It consists of 18 specialists and 1 planner.

You have a bachelor's degree, a higher vocational education (HBO5) diploma, or a university candidate's degree.
You meet the application requirements of the city of Antwerp.
You have passed or passed a management simulation as part of the selection process. Or you are eligible for a development program.
In this job, you are neutral, as you have direct contact with customers. Therefore, we do not wear external symbols of philosophical, religious, political, or other beliefs in this position.
You have vegetable-technical knowledge of machinery and experience with it. You have a category B driver's license.
You are a strong organizer and planner.
You are a true people manager. You guide employees clearly and motivatingly.
You work accurately and maintain an overview.
You are good at administration and are comfortable using digital tools.
You are stress-resistant, even in complex or busy situations.
