What will you do?
You will maintain and repair light trucks and other light vehicles.
You will independently perform maintenance and repair tasks.
You will perform basic diagnostics, identify faults, and devise sustainable solutions.
You will work on various vehicle types and brands.
You will follow procedures and use the correct parts, following maintenance and repair manuals.
You will carry out minor repairs or modifications to vehicles on-site.
You will sometimes act as backup for the breakdown team.

You have a secondary school diploma or a certificate from the 6th year of vocational education (with a full-time or part-time curriculum), preferably in a technical field. Or you don't have a diploma or certificate, but you do have at least one year of work experience in a relevant technical field.
You can check whether your diploma, certificate, or certificate is equivalent to a secondary school diploma.
Do you have a certificate or certificate from part-time education? Please provide us with proof from your educational institution stating that your certificate or certificate is equivalent to a secondary school diploma or a certificate from the 6th year of vocational education (i.e., the 2nd year of the 3rd grade).

You meet the application requirements of the city of Antwerp.
You have a category B driving license. A category C driving license is a plus. In this job, you'll be neutral, as you'll have direct contact with customers. Therefore, we don't wear any external symbols of philosophical, religious, political, or other beliefs in this role.
You have basic knowledge of diagnostic software. You can work independently with diagnostic equipment.
You have a good knowledge of automotive electronics.
Knowledge of electricity, electronics, and diesel engines is a plus. You're motivated to discover and (learn to) use new technologies.
You work accurately and readily adhere to strict safety regulations. You respect deadlines.
You have a positive attitude toward colleagues, partners, and customers.
You communicate clearly and fluently. You have sufficient oral and written knowledge of Dutch to collaborate safely with your colleagues.
You'll be on call for certain holidays.
