What are you going to do?

As a prevention advisor, you support the employer in setting up and strengthening the policy on safety and well-being at work. You are part of the management team and act as secretary of the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW). You report directly to the general manager. Your priority? A safe, caring and efficient working environment for all employees.

You will also manage an employee who supports you in the daily tasks of the prevention service.

Every day is different, the range of tasks is very varied. The following assignments are certainly included:

You develop a prevention policy for the ViTeS group. The aim is to establish solid basic safety agreements and actions and campaigns are developed to create broad and well-founded support for safety.
You are the secretary of the CBBW.
You develop an annual action plan with special attention to the most urgent parts/departments.
You are alert to safety risks every day and immediately report them to the employees involved and their managers.
You take care of annual safety tours and their reporting.
You ensure the necessary evacuation exercises every year.
You work together with the responsible buildings to follow up on the action points from the safety tours and the committee.
You follow up the periodic inspection reports together with the responsible buildings.
You ensure a systematic preparation and approach to the risk analyzes.
Together with an employee, you handle the submission, reporting, certificates and documents regarding industrial accidents or other safety issues, with support from colleagues where necessary.
You are responsible for reporting accident statistics.
You provide commissioning reports for all newly put into use.
You provide safe work equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Together with the Learning & Development employee, you monitor the mandatory safety training within the organizations (BE driving license, forklift, first aid, fire prevention, etc.).
If necessary, you work together with the external prevention service (EDPBW) and follow their advice.
You follow legislation regarding safety and well-being and ensure that ViTeS remains fully compliant.
You tailor advice to the specific needs of our organization, without sacrificing quality or conformity.
You practically roll out safety measures on the work floor – with a real hands-on approach.
You develop internal emergency procedures, follow them up and improve them.
You coordinate the health supervision of employees.
You are the point of contact for all work-related issues regarding safety and well-being.

Who are you?

A bachelor's or master's degree in prevention, safety, ergonomics, environment or an equivalent field.
In possession of a Prevention Advisor level II certificate (level I is a plus). Do you have at least level III and do you want to progress to level II? Then we are happy to support that process.
Someone with relevant experience in prevention, preferably within the social economy.
A strong communicator with fluent digital skills.
Someone who is well familiar with the Wellbeing at Work Codex.
